Seriously, I don't bother with Chanel sales anymore; I can never be quick enough to grab anything.

I also posted a pic of this bag yesterday...Saks Tampa had it. Chanel LAX line on sale at Saks Tampa - lots of pics!

The top row were the E/W version of the LAX Tote. The bottom row center is the LAX Tote. The image in my avatar was the large LAX Camera Bag and there was a smaller version of my avatar bag as well (not pictured in these threads).

NM Tampa still had one or two of the larger LAX totes like the one pictured on the far left on the bottom row. Ask for Josh...he'll help if it's still there.

NM also had a two scales bags, one large and one small.

Ladies, I'm back with an update on available bags at Saks in Pittsburgh as of 6.30 pm on Friday.
-timeless bowler in beige, black, borduex
-Sharpei e/w in black
-Sharpei pony hair frame bag
-Lax small in blue
-a random pink canvas tote
-a n/s shopper with flap resin modern chain in white (it's big)

I would most certainly turn away if I saw a scene like that. That's not how I want my Chanel purchasing experience to be like, not even if the merchandise is 90% off.

I was at a London Chanel boutique sale recently. There're lots of good merchandise, there's a line before the store opened. People were very civilised. There's no grabbing the bags and shoes and people being rude to each other. People picked the stuff they wanted and purchased. There're even people who hardly knew each other discussing the sale merchandise. A very peaceful place. That's what I prefer.

I agreed. I went to Saks early this morning to buy clothes and shoes, but I got there first so not many people are there. By the time I was leaving, there was a big crowd. Not my type of shopping experience with a huge crowd.

Anyways, I saw a white Chanel clutch on sale at my Saks. No one has bought it yet! I hope someone jumps on it!!!

What a mob scene at the Berverly Hills Chanel Saks ! Why can't they line the customers up as they arrive (no stand-ins or saving space in line allowed) ? When the sales event starts allow 5 customers at a time to come in and choose 1 (maybe 2) CC bags; give them 3 minutes to select the bag(s) (CC customers are quite savy about the styles, price, etc.). Then proceed to the cashier and pay for the merchandise. If they want more then go to the end of the line and start again. The SAs should be there to see that everything is flowing smoothly and answer any questions. I have stood in many lines and this works !!! And, it is the fairest to everybody !

the girl that was ringing me up for one of my purchases at Saks NYC said she bought 6 Chanel Sale bags! Six! I almost fainted. I would love to see pics of the bags and the prices eventually. That would make me so happy!

ETA: lol i have to add this... L-A-X like the airport. I heard someone the other day call them "lax" as in relax or exlax...
