new colors for jumbo in caviar?

Hi C! Yes, it should be exactly the same (same color code)! I spoke to an SA at BG today, and he mentioned seeing a swatch of the bag and it was that same stunning, bright red! I definitely need to unload my '09C Jumbo for the '10C one haha, because I only ever wanted a bright red, '05-esque Jumbo! I remember those GSTs (well, some) had some uneven, patchy areas... I hope that won't be an issue with the Jumbos!

Hi! Well, the famous '05 red some of us adore (I have an e/w ) is the brightest red Chanel has done! Nordstrom exclusively purchased the bright red GST/PST found in this thread:

RED Caviar GST ('05-like RED CAVIAR)!

Some of us were hoping that the '09A red caviar Jumbo would be that color, but instead, it turned out to be the same as the '09C red. The GST/PST you see in that thread has the exact same color code (81665) as the Cruise 2010 red caviar Jumbo.

I know BG didn't order the '10C red caviar Jumbo (according to an SA today), because they only ordered the red lamb Jumbo. Either way, stores won't have any concrete info for a while... and Cruise pieces don't hit stores until around December.

The 05 red GST is a fiery red! It is very bright and cheerful red! I wonder would the '10C red come in SHW or GHW...

I always struggle between the caviar and lambskin versions. Lambskin is soo hard to resist... Caviar on the other hand is a practical choice but is different from lambskin...

Hey girl - so you did check with BG. Good. I was hoping my info was right. The 81665 red is very red. It's the same color code that the coral lambskin one for 09 Cruise came in. But in Caviar the orange undertone was toned down (09P GST). There is def a tiny orange tone to it though. It's so pretty, I let my GST go as I discover I'm def not a GST girl.

And the BG SA is right about the blue. It's not too dark.
