since isn't the price increase on Nov 1st?

Last year PSN was November 15th I believe (or whatever the Wednesday was) So if it's around the same date this year I would assume it's on November 14th.

With the GST I'd be getting something else for my BF so I'd get the $200 gift card for sure...so it's still kind of worth it getting it post-increase, that's IF the price doesn't increase more than $200 (which...I doubt, actually)

of course they can order it in for you! just let them know ahead of time. my SA is Wendy. All the girls there are nice!

MJ stam is a nice bag too...hard decision! but I am biased, you know what i'd pick! lol

Chanel, OF COURSE

I'm leaning towards Chanel right now, it seems like a more practical bag for me. PLUS I'm set on buying the black if it's the GST but I'm not sure if I want two black bags... so I may change the colour of Stam I'm buying. Can't see myself buying a white GST (I'll freak out!), beige GST (kind of boring) or brown/bordeaux (not really my colours).

I think once news about PSN is passed around (let's see if this time I get a FORMAL invitation) I'll head on over to Chanel and ask to see a gazillion bags and pick the one I like. I really want a classic flap too, but I want a large bag and even the jumbo flap may not be as big as I want!

I been wanting that Luxe Bowler and Perfo flap but....was fulfilling the LV dream! (Plus the trip ....the new house.....and now furniture...argh!) Plus the only bag I want (LV Berkeley) is still not out!

I need to go to Chanel some time this week.....one of my earrings (the stud ones) lost a rhinestone 2 days ago! I'm so depressed about it considering I waited about 6 months for them!

I see Karman is showing an interest...

I just brought something from Wendy went I was in Calgary and she was the sweetest lady ever! I highly recommend her for an SA.

Karman: I would go with the Chanel. I read that the MJ bags always go on sale in the US so you might be able to pick on up cheap when they have their Thanksgiving sale at the end of November. I'm guess Canada will have a price increase the same time as the US. If we're lucky it won't go up but go down because of our dollar being so high.

Darn it. Then it might just be cheaper for me to purchase BEFORE PSN/price-increase if the GST w/ G/H is $1825 (that's cheaper than the US, i think?).

BTW, I agree with Javaboo. Classic Chanel bags NEVER go on sale but the Stams go on sale every season in different color so you can get it for super cheap.

Yeah I hear about the MJ sales too but last time I was in the US was in...uhhh...2002? I never go to the US, actually, I rarely even travel, since I'm at school tull fime during the school year and full time work during the summer.

Jazzie - I've been showing an interest for a couple of weeks now, I went to Chanel with Tina last Thursday.

karman, i don't think you can get a white GST here in Canada...unless they ordered them new for this season, b/c they haven't for awhile (i tried to get one) the white is super gorgeous, but yes, i'd be freaking out on keeping it clean, especially since it is an everyday bag. The lighter beige color is not, i don't care for the yellow-ish beige. it makes me look like i have jaundice. black is your best bet, it is a classic color and can go with anything! =)

Yep, that is how much a medium flap cost right now in Canada. Who knows how much it'll cost when they have the price increase.

Do you know if there is still the light beige still available for purchase?

But last time, I went there, they dont have many new design.

all they got are something I already have. and It's a long way to drive from Buffalo to Toronto.

I would be very appreciate if someone can check that for me.
