I didn't know they had free valet either! Usually we find street parking and it's about $7.50 for 3 hrs? But free is definitely way better!

Most of you may know that, but I didn't realize the price was so high now. I probably paid $600 - $650 before, for my stretchy ballerinas, but something about that "7" made me put the shoe back on the shelf and walk out of the store.

I think $700 is my breaking point for a stretchy flat.
ITA...I think Chanel is getting a little too greedy, considering the state of economy we are in right now.

I am just gonna wait for the sale unless I see something I really like

I think they only have it on Thursday and the weekend, I've never seen anyone valet any other day.

^ I didn't know about the free valet parking neither & I used to go to the spa @Holt every month in the past & remembered I had to park at the parking lot behind the building & had problem pushing the stroller around & around inside the parking lot as there's no elevator but stairs! Too bad I'm no longer living in TO now...can't take advantage of that...but I have to say Holt has good personal shopper service though!

Don't feel bad if you didn't know about it. It's just a new promotion for the summer months. They haven't had valet parking in the past. I think they're just trying it to see how it goes. The curb lane in front of the store is pretty much a dedicated lane for the valet parking. There's road construction going on in the area too, so the traffic can be kind of hairy.
They don't offer valet parking any other times....either free or paid.

They've had the free valet in the past, though I think it was only on Saturdays and was only part of promotions.

"creepy door opener guy" - so funny!

That doorman has been around for years and years and he is very friendly and welcoming. Is he too friendly for you? I have to admit, when he say's, "nice to see you again," I start to feel like he and I both know I'm shopping too much. But he says that to everyone really.

You can always go in through another door...

I thought he was charming at first but as he got to know me he started holding on to my hand too long, it's kind of awkward.... though it's probably just paranoia about shopping too much I'd prefer if no one noticed that I bascially live at Holts.

haha! Gosh I only wish I had that problem! Anyway, there's no obligation to buy anything, but they do want you to go into the store at least. So be sure to get out of the car and go inside the store even if it's only for a few minutes and you slip out another door. There's no time limit, so you can still shop elsewhere if you want, I just don't make it really obvious.
