But, really a transit strike?! I had bad experience with TTC strike in Toronto. Just hate it. Lucky your brother won't be affected.

Okay, I called myself.

The GST with G/H is still $1825!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woooohoooo!!!

I asked if she knew anything about a price increase and she said no. I have a feeling that's their general policy but SAs may tell their own customers. Anyways, at least that means the prices are still as they are for NOW.

Hopefully that means the price increase is Nov 1, not Oct. However, someone might want to make sure by calling again another store. I called Holt's Chanel in Toronto.

Hmm really?? My SA isn't in today so I will call her tomorrow... I hope it's true, no increase yet.

BUT either way, I'm still wishing it was a black GST with SILVER HW...I mean I don't mind gold but it'd be nice if we could have silver HW in Canada...

Maybe when my HR AMEX comes and the price is still $1825 I'll consider buying it from HR...otherwise my only option is to get it from the US

^ Yeah, I'm iffy about sending the MO in the mail, too. The seller is trustworthy (dealt with many people before no problem) and I'm willing to use wire transfer but I would so rather use my CC instead.

Just curious, why are you waiting for your HR AMEX to arrive? Why not use Visa, MC, etc?

I have a HR AMEX, because I originally had a Holts credit card, and they switched over to AMEX and gave their CC members these new cards. I don't mind. I like getting the points, although we can only use them at HR.

I'm a student, and only have a student Visa card with a $1500 limit (which is the maximum for that specific card). If I could use my Visa (which had textbooks, school supplies on it before my parents paid me back) I would've bought my GST last week!

At first I thought you were referring to the Timeless clutch (there isn't any around, I asked the SA but who knows) but I re-read it again.

I'm not sure which one you're referring to but I did see this exact one at the Vancouver Holts store. Not sure how much it was though. Does anyone know if it came with silver HW?

When I was looking at the catalogue, IIRC the Timeless tote had the same price as the Medallion tote in Euros...the Medallion is $1950 CAD so I would guess the Timeless tote is around that price too.

You are talking about this style, right?

ANYWAYS, I called my SA today...prices didn't go up yet, GST remains at $1825. I wonder if the date is really November 1st. She did say that "the prices aren't on our system yet"...so I'm not sure if it's just the system wasn't updated yet.

Azia- there is a beige one in Holt Renfrew Calgary as of last weekend .. it was GORGEOUS!! i was totally drooling over it BUT i purchased way too many bags this month so i passed .. but YOU should grab it! its beautiful!
