You may recommend a re-seller/retailer so long as it's not yourself you are recommending.
Great! Ok girls, you can get brand new/current Chanel bags through Rebecca Ynares. Showroom is in Valle Verde 4. By appointment 0919-496-8143. She actually has a better selection than what I saw at the Chanel boutique in HK (but that was August so peak shopping season) and you can also order current season items through her. Anyway, her store is closed until mid-November (re-stocking) so unfortunately no Chanel fix until after!

I gathered from my friend Jen in manila that they (middle person) sells twice the price! If you get a US$1650 they sell for almost 3K or up to as much as 185Kpesos! And they even sell it on terms?! Whew, with the cost of the bags already sky high how could anyone else afford to pay double?

No, the prices for these bags are not doubled...most certainly not. And strictly on cash basis...roughly around 15%-20% more from the US retail prices. ( inclusive of US sales tax, S&H and plus the personal shoppers' mark up). Hope this helps.

you can ask the SA to send you photos or if you want a certain style, she'll find it for you.

sorry didnt check prices of the jumbo and medim flaps at marni's room but i remember thinking they were priced reasonably and you can always ask for additional discount. i have bought from them in the past and the owner bobby is easy to talk to...

hi candice_ceo...did you ever have any problems with customs? I've been wanting to do that but have heard horrible stories from friends who did order their bags from the US or Europe. According to some, they had to pay something like 30% tax on their bags which is ridiculous. If would be nice to know if there's some other way to reduce the customs taxes. thanks!
