Just got my bag in paris from the Celine store a few days ago. I'm now back in the states and used it once. Was wearing all black and somehow the bag got color transfer :/ does anyone know how to remove it or am I out of luck? It's the 2015 spring knot bag in burnt orange.

Hi! I'm so sorry you've gotten color transfer on your new bag! I've heard that baby wipes can be very useful! Maybe try calling Celine customer service and see if they have any recommendations?

Here are some threads that might be useful- GOOD LUCK!

I am truly sorry.

I suggest you to visit your nearest Celine boutique and show them what happened to your Tie. They might not let you do exchange or return but they might recommend you a place to spa your bag. Good luck.

Ugh I had this happen to me shortly after I brought back my Micro Luggage from Italy - dark jeans and a dune bag do not mix. I tried the baby wipe method; wipe in circles with a bit of pressure - it got most of the colour off. There's a tiny spot that's hardly noticeable, but I have to warn you that the longer you wait the harder it is to get the colour off. You can also try just a leather cleaner; like one from Coach or the apple leather care stuff I hear is great.

If you're afraid to do it yourself you can always take it into a professional leather specialist/cleaner but it can be $$$

I hate to say it but I highly doubt Celine will do anything for you. I've had bag defect issues (stitching coming loose after 2 weeks). Because the bag is from Europe they say oh we cannot do anything and the best they do is give you an email of who to contact. I'm actually really disappointed with Celine customer service especially compared to other brands like Louis Vuitton. Sorry if this is turning into a rant. Anyway, I really hope you are able to get that bag back in tip top shape!
