To me, NYC is not a small world but "The City" people live in a totally totally different world from most of us. I have never even heard of the "downtown crowd" before! My friend got hooked up with them thru her boyfriend's friend. I think they may have actually been filming that night so it must have been a pretty good connection. The pics are cool, it looked like they were having fun just sitting in a booth drinking and laughing.

Whitney and Erin are gorgeous! Olivia is pretty but I can't stand her, which makes her unattractive as far as I'm concerned.

It seems like a good show so far... no Hills (I love LA) but I'll definitely keep watching. I love seeing this new side to Whitney, I thought she was so boring in the Hills.

NYC is unique in that sense...but I think the show purposely tries to depict the differences and divide between "uptown" and "downtown" crowd more than it really is. "Uptown" crowd hangs out in downtown spots all the time..There is a definite difference in the vibes of the pp in these crowds but NYC is really not that big..lol....pp mingle and see each other all the time.

& of course, LOVE LOVE LOVE the hair! Not many girls look good with that hairline she has on the side! (I know cause I tried and I looked like chubaca!)

Olivia lost a ton of weight! She used to be bigger.

It's kind of funny that most socialites would not be caught dead on a reality show. Olivia initially denied being on The City too.

i think olivia's voice has an uncanny resemblance to heidi's! i feel like the show is scripted... at least on her part.

They are all beautiful girls! I will definetly be watching bc I love Whitney. IMO Oliva is super gorgeous, but comes off as trying too hard, which i didnt get because if your a "social" and so fabulous why is she constantly trying to validate herself to others?
