That's a really good point. I was going to pop over to the GuSkars thread (is that what he's called?) to show my support, but now my loyalties are divided. If that thread goes off topic as much as this one it's going to get very confusing.

I don't have a strong opinion on Gustaf yet, but Evil arrived in the post today (Ha! Gustaf beat you, striking-postmen!!!) so I may have to make my forum decision after I've watched it later tonight.

But it´s true that many people in Sweden has this opinion about Alex.

I think it has something to do with that " kind of " and "you know" in almost every meaning.

re: Ted's commenters KB/pap conspiracy

... the paps sure wouldn't have been able to get the Chat Marm pics if he had just stayed home, in bed, with just himself for company. Or the thirty women (or men) of his choice.

Getting papped is part of the way it is, and he can either live his life with as much normalcy as he can, or he can hide under a rock and let paranoia and aggravation consume him and go scurrying back to Sweden and become a ski instructor or something.

Ted's commenters are one step up from the JJ crew. His divorce has made his claws come out. From the comments though it sounds like the pic needs to be photoshopped to have the heads swapped....KB's the one taking advantage of AS's popularity and naivete. He is just a big dumb Swedish hunk, after all (accdg to some of the other commenters.....cos they all seem to know him)

Ugh. I need to mail my friend in Liverpool something. She doesn't have email and the time diff is such a pain in the neck; every time I call her husband answers the phone and we don't know each other very well and it's awkward. Any strike end in sight? Is it country-wide? Her baby's 1st bday is next month and I wanted to send something....

Thanks for posting all those Gustaf pics I haven't seen them at all. In some of the photos I think Gustaf looks more like Stellan, they have the same nose and they sort of have a similar essence that comes across in photos... that's probably just me though. Both the brothers have really hairy arms in comparison to the rest of the hair coverage on their body.

Just want to ask a question -- So as I understand it part of the reason the legal drinking age was set to 21 was to separate it from the legal driving age to try and prevent unnecessary road accidents. Why don't they just swap it? Make teenagers walk or catch public transport it'll even help out the environment.

It's a 2 day strike - tomorrow and Friday, with the threat of more to come (they haven't announced when yet). It's Royal Mail, so it will be the whole country.

This'll be my second attempt at Evil. The first disc they sent cut out after 30 minutes. I hope this one works better. I've even got some organic wine to enjoy while I watch it.

Awww. Having enjoyed his audio and print interviews, I don't believe that he's dumb for a sec. And having interacted with Brad P. (no claim to bff status, mind), I think some of these guys get the "pretty girl" backlash--as in some people want to assume they're too pretty to be smart. Aaaand if that's what dumb looks like, I'm shallow. I'm in.
