Photogs spotted Chad Lowe on Friday, moving out of the Manhattan apartment he shared with estranged wife Hilary Swank.


The couple purchased the townhouse on Charles Street in the West Village for $3.9 million back in 2002. It had been on the market since June with an asking price of $8.25 million. The former home of Mr. and Mrs. Swank (we know who really wore the pants there) has two bedrooms, four floors, six fireplaces and two full baths. The apartment and its inhabitants were the subject of a New York Times feature back in 2005. That was in happier times.

Interestingly, neither Brad nor Angie are listed in the transaction. Mondo Bongo Trust is named as the buyer.

Nice house. I love the garden. Although it's hard to believe that they're moiving into this house. From what I saw I always thought that they like modern houses.

You know how they go with each other to their film sites? I wonder if he and Jen had done the same if they would still be together?

do you know if this property was affected by katrina? i am not understanding if it was gutted due to the storm or for cosmetic reasons.
