They are just player haters...it usually happens to people with a lot going on for them

I seriously doubt that those haters have better bodies and style than Mira. They're just a bunch of jelous and nasty people.

OMG that is exactly what i was telling you, that my russian friend told me that russian people hate each others, they cant admire people, only critisize and that is awful thing! though my friend also told me that those comments on that gossip site are never good about ANYONE! they once even wrote and critisized russian first lady MEDVEDEVA and there was a huge scandal about that! so i think its not just about being jealous to Mira, its about those peoples hatred towards the whole world! i feel sorry for people like that, i love to admire and im happy i dont live in russia!

Even so Waterwoman, one can't generalise an entire people simply by the few (considering Russia's population) who post comments on gossip sites... they might have a tendency to take a negative perspective (look up the behaviour of post-Communist societies, you might understand why then) but hate is a terribly strong word.

Perhaps to Russians she is our equivalent of Paris Hilton in respect to her overexposure (at least in Russia)? It is much easier to say things that are negative than positive. And bear in mind each culture's idealised beauty, I would imagine she is not viewed there as particularly attractive whereas to us she is, each to their own... I don't see why we need to bring it up, ignore it and just enjoy her style!

such a great point and really explains everything. Thats why I had asked if that was a gossip website because comments like that are the norm.

Regardless, I could care less about Mira's size and what not. I just love her clothes and how she pairs them.

I wouldn't categorize all Russians as being jealous. There are Russians on this board who like her and post nice things about her. You can't just make a generalization about an entire country. People who post on gossip sites usually post nasty things no matter where they are from. I'm sure it's true that they say mean things, but it's not everyone, it's mainly the ones who bother posting on these gossip sites. I have a lot of Russian friends who are very nice and give lots of compliments to other women.

Well, I`m half Russian and half Finnish, so I must say something. First of all, I love, love and LOVE Mira! She is just an inspiration to me. I think she is very beautiful and stylish, and doesn`t dress too feminine way like many russians do. She`s wonderful.

Second, not all Russians are mean people. People are different. I have met mean russians, I have also met mean finns and mean americans. So, I think it is quite rude to jugde all the russians because of one person told something nasty.

Thank you all for your nice comments about Russians! Even I`m half - russian only, it is part of me so I would not like someone think me as a mean person.

I think i know what your friend meant when she said that "Russian people" gossip or talk mean things about o***rs.. believe me, every culture has people who gossip a lot about o***rs from ***ir own culture!! lol however, it's not nice to generalize every russian to be this way.. every culture has people like this, but not everyone from that culture should be generalized to be a certain way :)
