Celebrities and their *fake* handbags!

I’ve heard of it happening and even seen it a few times; celebrities carrying around fake handbags. This is one thing I find hard to grasp, if you’re in the limelight why on earth would carry around something fake? I thought a lot of designers gave celebrities things to wear? Can’t they afford something nice, even if it’s the same bag every day?

Well I thought I’d start a thread to post pictures of celebrities sporting their fakes. Sort of a hall of shame deal. I'll start with:

Britney Spears and her fake (or is that an imitation) Chanel.

I saw a pic of Nicole Richie using a fake Louis Vuitton murakami bag a few years back. I think sometimes celebrities assistants are the ones that give them the bags, like the Courtney Love debacle where her assistant gave her a fake Chanel dress that she wore to an event.

It is real. It is the Lady Braid flap bag. It could be a copy, but it is an actual style they had out a couple of seasons ago.
