Thank you!!

I will find out tomorrow if I got the job or not. I am very nervous and I honestly don't think that I will get it... but maybe that's just my low self-esteem getting the best of me again.

Thanks guys!

I'm terrified about finding out. I have such a bad feeling.

I just hate that they'll be calling me while I'm at work - everyone will be able to see my disappointment if I don't get the job

Thanks

No call yet! I've been sitting here checking my phone 238473289 times to make sure it's still working / has signal, LOL. I have to pee every 5 minutes because I'm so nervous.

CALL ME ALREADY!

Just got a call from the company. I will have to wait until the beginning of next week - the manager has been sick the last few days

Thank you and congrats on reaching 500 posts!

My theory: they offered the job to the other girl and are waiting to see if she will accept. I am the back up. I dunno if I am over analyzing but there is really no use in worrying now.. I can't change the situation and I just have to deal with it.

oh man, what a tease they are!!!

if that is indeed the situation, it was awfully nice of them to call and get some sort of excuse. most companies will say they're going to call no matter what and never do.

my cousin hounded a company so much that they actually told her that they didn't want to hire anyone they interviewed (after her bugging them week after week about their decision) but that they could tell she really wanted the job so they let her come in for a test run (she worked for 1.5 days) to see if she was a good fit. either that company is completely flakey or they didn't like her cause i don't think she heard from them again after that and she probably gave up.

Ahhh I hope you get it!

I had an interview a couple weeks ago and they too made me wait "until next week" to hear back.. I was the back up and the girl accepted the job! I dont want to get your hopes up at all, its just funny you mentioned that and it just happened to me. :) Made me feel good knowing I was at least 2nd best lol.

I have an interview for tomorrow. I always get soo nervous and sometimes my mind goes blank or they ask a question and I get into it then go off track and forget what they asked me! I find rehearsing helps soo much. I know some people are against that but its a blessing for me. I make sure it doesnt sound scripted but at least I have the ideas in my head for what Im going to say, especially when they are scenario questions such as: "Tell me about a time ____.." if I didnt prepare for that than I'd be stumped! lol. When they ask what my weaknesses are I tell them I tend to overwork myself sometimes.. keep yourself looking good even if they are looking for something bad.
