Default Somebody PLEASE help me with burberry rain boot sizing!?!?!!
So I have read in older threads that the boots run small and that I should get at least a size bigger, especially if I want to tuck in my jeans (which I do). I'm a size 7.5 to 8 (US women's), so I'm assuming I should get 9...however I can't determine what this should be in the European size for Burberry...

The sizing conversions differ between Nordstrom and Bloomingdales...Bloomingdale claims that a 39 is a US size 9, while Nordstrom claims that a 39 is a US size 8 ??? Even when I just googled the standard conversion between European and US sizes, I found conflicting answers!! This makes it really frustrating because I'm already guessing I need a size up, and then I also have to guess which one is a size 9?

If someone knows more precisely what a size 9 is equivalent to in THESE boots, or even if you know what I should get as a size 7.5-8 in womens because you have these shoes, I would really appreciate your response!!

get a size 38 witch is a 7.5
but those get a 39 they are a little narrow
if they are the wrong size you should be able to send it back and get the size you need

thanks for your response! but is the 39 going to be a half a size up (ie size 8) or a whole size, because I don't want to go to an equivalent of an 8, I want an equivalent of a 9. Thanks

wow maybe the people who said they went up just had wider feet :( Now I don't know what to do. Do you have any trouble tucking in your jeans in the shoes?

i tried them on the other day, i wear at 8 in uggs (which run large) a 9 in flop flops, and a 9 in work out shoes, the 39 was way too small.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM!!!
I normally wear a 7.5 or sometimes an 8 but when I tried on a 38 they were way too tight. So I tried on the 39 (I was like, no way, I am not an 8?) but to my surprise, they were a perfect fit. I asked the salesperson at Saks and he said that a 39 was really an 8... Didn't make any sense to me but he said 7.5 = 38 and that an 8 = 39.
I would say, try it on but really the 39 fit me perfectly - and I normally wear a 7.5 sometimes an 8. Hope that helps... :)
