I bought the bag two years ago in Paris, so I can't really take it back. German SAs can't help me either, so I've contacted Burberry customer services in London and will send them the bag on Monday.
I hope they will really do something about it, like they said they would in their second email - the first one was just a standard reply
I'm so jealous that you were in Paris!

In re: to your purse... How frustrating! That's crazy there were bubbles forming under the canvas! I hope that Burberry comes through. Let us know how it goes!

I will!
The SA here in Germany said it could take up to 6 months before I hear anything...

Wow! That's a long time! I hope you hear back from them soon. I'm curious to hear about your experience with their customer service department as I have heard mixed reviews. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!

Good luck!

Mixed reviews... At least not all bad
I'll send the bag out tomorrow and then I'll wait - more or less patiently.

I only know that the bag arrived safely and the package was signed for. Now I have to wait for them to take a look at it and contact me.

I just got a letter from Burberry... Including vouchers for the whole amount!
The bag was more than two years old when I sent it in... I really didn't expect them to send me vouchers covering the full price of the bag

That is SO great to hear! Wow, that blows my mind...amazing customer service. I have never heard of such great customer service. My Fendi Spy is 2 years old and the handle is starting to come undone. I barely used it and it is MINT,other than that little part of the handle. I called NM King of Prussia and they said since it was past a year there was nothing they would do. :( I am starting to wonder if I should contact Fendi directly but I think I screwed myself by purchasing it at Neimans. The Spy cost the same price, yet Neimans only has a 1 year policy and Fendi has a 3 year policy...isn't that total crap??? NM Chanel in Chicago has taken something back past the year mark..the necklace was only worn three times and it was just falling apart!!

I'm really in love with the Burberry customer service at the moment! Even though lots of people were telling me that their CS was really bad

I'd definitely contact Fendi! They might not be able to help you in any of the stores, but they can tell you where to send the bag.

I bought my Burberry at a department store in Paris, so Burberry stores here in Germany couldn't really help me. They would have sent it to London for me though, but told me it would be better (and quicker) if I did it myself.
