I'm curious about the removable shearling on this jacket. I'd love to see what this looks like without it.

Hi ladies! I fell in love with this jacket. I bought it about 2 months ago when it first came out. It is well made and a great fit, true to size. The leather is pebbled and the inside lining is a nice plaid. Before I tried it, I was also concerned with the ribbing on the arms. When I tried it on, I really liked it. The arms are very nice and not over the top. The shearling collar is removable with little buttons that slide into a seam in the leather sideways. I can't do pics now, but you can see the jacket without the collar (I love it this way), on the Bloomingdales website. You can type burberry leather jacket and it will pop up. It is called Edgewcik. When I bought mine, it was only at the burberry store and they were running low on sizes. I don't think it is on the burberry website anymore, but, I also had seen it at Saks in NYC, and now Bloomies and Nordstrom shows it online. This jacket is even more beautiful in person. I definitely recommend it.

Ooh thanks for the heads up about the photos without the shearling!! I can't wait to see modeling pics :)

I actually find the jacket more interesting because of the detailing on the arms!

Thank you guys for all your input!! My friend was able to see the jacket at Neiman's today but since she is tiny and the smallest size they had was a 4 it looks a lil strange! But she said the leather is beautiful! I'll check it out in a few days and get back to the thread!

Here is my friend in the jacket!

Hi Mrsjstar, yes definitely try this jacket. If your friend needs a 2, they maybe able to get it for her. I tried 2 and 4, and I went with the 4. The 2 just fit but I prefer a little room to layer so I chose the looser look over the tighter look. Have fun shopping.
