O.k., I think I should have posted my question here. Any opinions as to the authenticity of this eBay seller's Burberry quilted jackets?
eBay: BURBERRY Belted QUILTED JACKET Black XL/L No Res!!!! (item 230036128211 end time Oct-12-06 20:30:00 PDT) Would hate to make an expensive mistake. Thanks for your help! |

Thanks. My friend purchased one from this seller and I went over and looked at it. Belt buckle is leather covered. Appears seller has reversed picture of how coat buttons in her auction description. Coat actually buttons (when you put in on) with the right side buttoning over the left.
Do these details make any difference? I just question how she has so many and can sell at such a low price. Always makes me leary. Thanks for your help. |

i thought, as a generality, women button right over left and men do left over right...so wouldn't that be correct, what she's selling?
i would personally stay away from that auction (though it's ended by now), and ones like it. they don't even offer refunds. |

THe thing I looked at was you don't get a close up of the tags. That does make a difference too. the seller only took pictures from the front and half opened of the jacket. Also a close up of the lining would help as well.

Passed along your concerns to friend who purchased jacket. She contacted seller who has agreed to accept return for full refund. Seller has Chinese name and says jacket produced for "different market" (?). Guessing maybe for Hong Kong market??
Anyway, hopefully she will actually get her refund thanks to your help! |

thanks both. Another question: do Burberry trench fit slim or large? I'm an Italian size 38, that should be a UK 6, and these are my measures: 5'35'' (1.63 m) and 94.8 pounds (43 kg). Do you think that #2 would be too large for me? Maybe the best thing I can do is to go to a vintage shop near here where they sell vintage Burberry coats and try some on...
