Mjaromero was the length of your scarf 55 inches too ?

The camel colour is stunning in those photos.

i have a new predicament, the burberry sign sewn onto the scarf isnt really proportional. as you can see in the pic, the URB in burberry are spread apart but the RRY in the end are so close together. am i overanalyzing?

sorry for the crappy pic, cell phone this time. you be the judge cus i know nothing about authenticating

Mine looks just like Ssangits. 55 inches. Perhaps I should call BlueFly to complain also.

That does look strange ! I am going to return mine definitely. It's not worth risking.

Mj - Could i ask you a big favour and get you to post the exact measurements of the camel with AND then without the fringes. I ordered the camel as well so I would like the exact measurements to compare with mine. Thanks !

Thankyou mj ! When i receive mine I will compare. But the URB and RRY thing does bug me a lot. It looks seriously dodgy. I wonder if anyone else's is like that ?

Such a shame too because the colours are beautiful.

Good idea. That is the only way to know for certain.

the stitching on the left is really off but the colors on that scarf look perfect.. is there such a thing as factory seconds any chance thats what they are recieving. I had also heard there is no second tag next to the main burberry tag but mine has one..

That's the only thing I can think of. Burberry making the wrong length or something and hence BlueFly receiving a large shipment. Usually bluefly receive less than 50 of an item but this time they received well in excess of that. Also people are reporting different lengths ranging from 52 for the pink one to 54 and 55 inches (not including fringes) which make me think they seconds as well. I am fine with buying seconds as long as I am given this information and given the correct length of the scarf ! Misleading the consumer is not right despite how cheap you offer the item.

I wish someone could take theirs into a Burberry store and end this furore once and for all.

inch37: so do you conclude that it is authentic? because if it is, then ill try and call them for a price adjustment. if its fake then ill just return it

The thing that worries me is the missing 2nd tag. If nothing, Burberry is consistent. If one of their scarves has a second tag, then all the other colours in the same line should have it too. This is a concern of mine why one colour does and the other doesnt ?
