Does anyone have a Burberry jacket with metal engraved buttons whose font doesn't have the little "rat tails" on the Rs? Also, the jacket has a detachable hood, which I haven't seen on a Burberry quilted jacket. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced

As I said, there are many convincing cloth tags, and the Nova Check seems in order, but the font on the buttons is what bothers me. Can someone give the the bad/good news?

It can be VERY difficult to authenticate scarves... the font on the sewn and paper tags are important to see and on this scarf, both are off

The little bit of extra tag on the sewn tag is also off

#1 - not sure... stamp looks a bit off, maryg1, is that extra bit on the flag next to the B supposed to be there? My items don't have that but I don't have anything from this line

Here is what concerns me about your coat:

- button font
- interior lining is not in sections
- no Burberry tag that I can see on the left side of the lining near the bottom
- white tag and Burberry tag is in the sleeves/ pockets? they should not be there
