Default What style is my BV?
hi there bag muskateers. My mum is culling her handbag collection and I have inherited them..I am thinking of selling some but need to identify what they are first of all. She is the biggest bag snob of all, buys about 5 bags per year and only from fancy boutiques such as Chanel, BV, Balenciaga, Dior etc. Obviously this bag is a BV and the little card inside says it is deer skin. The colour is an off white, beige ish kind of colour and the inside is dark brown suede. That is all I can tell you...Any insights wld be welcome. Thx

ps:Im having a terrible time trying to upload photos, i think the file size is too big but photo is tiny when I reduce file size.....urgghhh...

I've seen it called the Circle bag. I don't know if that's an official BV name or just what became the custom with this style. It's fairly popular, still. One of our members who isn't near a computer for awhile (Baggiana) has one, I believe. She could tell you how old it is, or can your mom recall when she bought it? This is authentic, though, and there are usually buyers for this style, if it's in nice condition. All your details fit what I know about the bag.

Can you find the white authenticity tag inside somewhere? If you can, give us the code numbers and letters and maybe we can tell you the name of the color. When you sell it, emphasize the suppleness of the deerskin (Cervo). BV's deerskin is so nice.

Yes, this is the circle bag, and the smaller of the two sizes. The larger is very large, so this is a nice size. I would guess the it is about 5-6 years old, but can tell better when you post a picture of the authenticity tag inside the zipper pocket in the seam. I, personally, love this bag (I have the larger size in ebano) and it shows cervo at its best!
