Default What do you do with little envelopes, auth. cards, etc???
Help .. now that I have more bags that come with little envelopes, authentication cards, fancy tags, hanging things that I don't use but should keep ..
What do you do with them? Do you take them out when you use the bag, then put them back when that bag's tour is done? Leave them in the bag while using? (I'm not liking that as I don't want to drop wallet/keys on them etc.) Put all in some separate, sacred place, labeled for what bag??

I keep them in the zipped pocket as I hardly use that pocket. But I would put them in an envelope and label it and keep it somewhere safe if I do not want them in the bag.

Well, I usually leave my care cards in. Authenticity cards and dustbags are rolled up nicely, then bagged in ziplocks and then stored. I use other dustbags that are better suited for "breathing" for my side of the world. I have an area for all the dustbags and cards (plus other things bags come with) so I can have everything around should I want to check up on it or even sell it. That's why, I also keep the receipt.

For each BV item I get, I record the auth tag numbers and purchase details in a spreadsheet. I also record that on the outside of an envelope. I put the receipt and all the little tags/cards inside the envelope, seal and file.

^^ Triple wow! I put them in a drawer that one day I intend to clean out and organize - but until then is just stuffed to the gills with disorganized crap, including all of the cards and stuff.

I put mine in an envelope with everything that it came with, and write the name of the bag on the front of the envelope. Then, I put all of these envelopes in a box that I have stored (hidden) in my closet from DH. LOL

I like Jburgh's idea of a spreadsheet. I have thought about that and even started it once. I need to get back to it!

I keep any tags, BV authenticity cards and receipts inside the zipper pocket of everyday bags, and if it is a clutch that I am using for the evening, I remove all this while I am wearing the bag and replace everything at the end of the evening and store all back in its dustbag ..If I ever put all this on a spreadsheet, and saw all I was spending, I would be sick.. In a way I do not want to know..

Hey, what can I say? I have a little bit of the compulsive personality. I like to organize and file.

OK - I heard that collective sigh and the "get a life!"

^No that is great, and if you can find the time, I could use your organizational skill! You have an invitation to my home anytime!
