jburgh, you're so organized!

I usually keep the tag & card in the interior zipped pocket if it has 1. Otherwise, I'll keep them in the dustbag, and put them back together after use.

jburgh, another wow from me.

I just throw the whole bunch in the zippered pockets. And since the zippered pockets are so big, there's space for my cards and my own stuff.

That's for bags. I have no idea where the cards of my wallets are now.

I totally remove the tag, cards, and envelopes from the bag and place them along with the receipts into a collective envelope marked "Bottega Veneta". I would still have to sort through to find the correct ones, but each is placed inside the folded receipt. I do not want to keep paper (which may contain acid) in my bags. The mirror, if I have one, lives in the zipper pocket, and the bag lives in its sleeper when not being carried.

I put my tag, cards, envelopes and receipt in a little box I use for designer purchases. I put the whole box in a small firesafe I got from Staples and tuck it in my closet. Weird paranoia that if something happened, noone would believe that some of this stuff costs that much!

Ah lots of good ideas! I already have one file for all the bag purchase slips (I know, don't add them up!) but I see "some" people have a file for each bag? Or an envelope for each bag, all in one handbag file?
Now if I were (do I remember right person?...) Alexis--- with only four major bags, this would be simple!

I used to place them in the zippered pockets of the bags, but after receiving nice BV boxes that come with shipping, I figured these better be put into good use...so all the cards, envelopes and mirrors are organized per bag then placed into the box. I keep an envelope of receipts for BV items and place this in my receipts file.

That's another great idea! Let me follow this. I guess I'll keep the receipts separately in the receipt folder.

i save my receipts but don't save the rest. why do you save all those other cards? have i been making a mistake. truthfully, i don't even know why i save the receipts once i reconcile the credit card statement. i have sold bags and have never been asked for the cards.

I'd like to know, too. So far, I've removed them from the bags and saved them all, but I haven't kept clear records of which goes with which. They all look the same to me but I've also never bothered to unseal any of the envelopes. Are they each unique, in fact?

Here's why I'm saving them. I always think.. Oh I'll never sell this bag! (Fill in your own expression = "I'm done." "Perfect .. " "Forever bag" .... but then you know what happens .. another beauty waves at me .. so it is faintly possible that down the line, one will be sold, and I want all the cards, and the receipt.
And, as someone else said, .. receipt showing cost for insurance.

Thanks, all ... lots of good ideas!
