Default Thoughts about the "pillow bag"?
To those who own or have tried the "pillow bag"...any thoughts? Do you love it, find it frustrating, or other? TIA.

I don't know what the pillow bag is, but I'm curious to see it. I'll check back.

I haven't seen this one IRL, but it looks beautiful. Although, it looks like it could be heavy. It probably holds a ton.

i am attracted to it, but find it too big for me. i am only 5 1 and get overwhelmed by large bags for some reason. i think if i had one, i would only use it for overnight trips

I LOVE the bag. I tried it on in store and it's a little on the larger side (even larger than the Balenciaga work). For reference, I am 5'7. If you don't carry a lot of stuff, it's not a heavy bag. It comes with a shoulder strap and the tote handle is actually large enough to fit on your shoulder too, so there is more than one way to wear it. I'd say it's good for weekends or work.

looks nice, I handled it in the shop.. I'm 5"6 and I find it too big for me (but hey, I like the size of Medium Venetas... so maybe I'm just a small bag person)

I have that bag in ebano and love it. I love how's it's very flexible - for casual, simply use the shoulder strap that comes along with it. For work, just carry it with the tote handle.

It's slightly heavier than say, Venetas due to the hardware. I'm ok with the weight as I usually don't carry a lot of stuff anyway.

It is also unisex so my bf can carry it with no issues. All in all I say it's a very value-for-money bag!!

Is this the one with the latches on the side like the Montaigne? My SA tried to talk me into that one. I love the looks in general but I had read here and the SA also unwittingly exhibited in the store how awkward it is to "convert" and it pulls on the latches if you carry it that way, distorting its shape which IMO is much prettier when latched down. I love most BV bags with the option of the handles or strap, but this unfortunately isn't one of them.

I love this bag but it is too big, IMO it is not an everyday bag.

SCL - I have this bag in Nero and love it to pieces (it is so versatile) and carry it nearly every day! If I need to schlepp around a lot of stuff for university I carry it without strap and not secured by the thumpscrews (laptop, waterbootle, books,..) on my shoulder. In the city I tend to carry it like a speedy (thumpscrews+strap) on my shoulder/in my hand and on my recent trip to Istanbul I even carried it as a hobo (crossbody).
If you need action pics, just let me know and I will upload a few! Btw for reference: I am 5.7" (174cm) and about 119lbs (54kg).

I also heard from my SA that it was originally meant to be a seasonal style, but it sells so well that it is becoming a classic style now. I believe I just saw this style in uluru (sp??). :)

I like the bag, I like big bags in general, the sheer expanse of BV leather weave is what makes it appealing for me.
