Default Thinking about my first BV
I am thinking about getting the sloane in ottone. I have seen a few pictures and posts about it on this forum before. I love it and i wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations or thoughts about this for my first. I also am interested in getting a zippy wallet in ebano. I am usually a Burberry girl and Balenciaga. My favorite bag i have is the manor and i wanted to know how this bag compares to that. Any feedback would be great! i can't wait to join the BV family!!!

i love anything in ottone. i think it is tdf and may not be available for long so you have an opportunity if you love it.
i don't know whether the sloane will work for you. i think it is great but doesn't work for me and doesn't look well on me.
others here love it and it looks fabulous on them so they can advise you. welcome to bv and let us know what you decide.

a sloane in ottone would be a knockout first BV.

I spent forever playing with it in the boutique, I could not leave the bag alone.

I think if you like Balenciaga, you'll appreciate how lightweight BV is as well. and the sloane has the same easy to wear qualities.

The sloane in ottone is TDF! It is such a gorgeous lightweight bag and the ottone shades are amazing. This is a truly special BV, but then again I'm biased

My first BV was a Sloane and I totally agree with mundo, an ottone Sloane would be a wonderful first bag!

This a not-to-pass bag. Sloan alone is already very tempting. Sloan + ottone? Not many things can beat that. Thumbs up.

Ottone is so so special, go get it before they disappear!!
And ebano zippy wallet would look lovely with the ottone sloane!!

Of course I'm totally biased, both are my fav colours...

my first BV was a sloane in Pergamina. I love it. I don't use it much because I don't want to damage it.

Its a great first bag. Ottono is a great color.

go for it

I agree with dolphingirl and couldn't have said it better myself. Of course I've never actually seen a Sloane IRL nor have I seen the ottone colour IRL, living as I do in the BV wasteland of Canada, but everyone who has has raved about the bag AND the colour and therefore I think you would be getting a real classic.
