Default The new "Dark navy" or is it really black?
The fall collection for men has the new dark navy color code 4030, but when I see it online and in the store it looks jet black. Has anyone purchased anything in this color? What are your thoughts about this? I really want a navy bag from them but I'm nervous it wont actually look navy outside, because the colors in the stores always look much darker than they actually are. I attached a picture of a messenger in that color....

The color is called Midnight. It is a super dark navy. I have only seen it indoors and it looks quite dark. However, you should ask your SA to go outside with the bag so you can see it. I have requested this with bags and have not been refused. If this is not practical, perhaps there is a window on another part of the building that will work.

I agree that it is very dark, and in the store both the black and midnight bags look almost identical. When I was checking them out in one of the London stores, the SA was having to check the colour code on each bag to know whether it was nero or midnight!

With the navy bags, I bet the color gets lighter and more defined as you wear the bag. It will probably end up a very nice dark navy in the end.
