Default The Future of Metallics
Metalic leather handbags have been around for the last couple of years and I really enjoy them. But how much longer do you think this trend will last????

I am concerned because I have ordered 2 items from BV"s oxidized copper leather line....the hobo bag and the small round cosmetic/evening bag. I really love the look but will it soon look dated?

I own a few classic BV pieces and I am "in love" with the brand.

Opinions please.

I am an old, old lady and have been carrying handbags for more years than I care to admit. I have seen metallics, exotics, patent, fringe, tribal, big weave, little weave, suede, etc, etc come and go over and over. I am not worried in the least.

I am an old lady too, and have seen metallics and other trends come and go in cycles, and also always see someone with metallics no matter what the trend is.

To me, most of BV metallics are classic than trend, and that's I think one of the reasons I love ottone and oxidized copper personally and other BV metallics on many PFers here.

I'd love a oxidized copper mini cabat if they ever made one.

You know those bags, that some people carry and other people / members of the public say "Ooh, where did you get that from, its soo different??" Well, BV metallics could be classed in that section.

I'm glad to hear that Mid- and Jburgh.
sroze, I ordered a zip around wallet in RAME (Copper) too.
I haven't even seen it in real life.
I was wondering if you should just go with Cobalt instead.
But it's 2 different look.
I hope it looks nice.

Not sure about the deposit, probably is a case by case basis. The SO placer came in, looked at the bag and decided against it.
