I saw that bag and almost went for it, until I noticed what you described. I wish they had made the smaller version larger,because it is a much better shape. For the price it should be perfect.

I'm sorry, jburgh. {{{hugs}}}

I just don't understand why they approved the crooked big sis to go on market, that's so against BV's/Tomas Maier's principle...

O dear, what a disappointment! It really is disappointing when you pay so much for an item only to discover it's so imperfect. I've found fingerprints on the hands of an IWC, a tiny hair stuck on the hand of a Glashutte limited edition of 20 pieces, and had to have a Patek sent back 3 times cos it was so unreliable it kept going faster and faster by over an hour!! It really bugs me when people charge so much and don't deliver the goods. DOn't they take pride in their craftsmanship anymore??

jburgh, sorry the bag didn't work. When you originally asked for people's thoughts I said it looked like a sad face and here it gave you a sad face! I'm a stickler for symmetry and balance. The crooked weave would have bothered me too. Glad the patent/suede tote put a smile on your face. I love the combo but neither tote is shoulder friendly, my #1 criteria these days, so sadly I have to pass unless I can get a SO in another style.

I don't know how I missed this earlier. Just had to look around after seeing a couple of pics of this weave. So pretty. However, I'm with LLANeedle, I need something shoulder-friendly. Arm/hand bag and 8 month old baby just do not go together...
