Hello, hello. Finally am able to check in here after arriving back last night. As
triggerpuff mentioned, HK is truly a "eat and shop, and eat some more and shop some more" holiday trip - well at least for me, LOL!
mrsDIY88 and myself met up first at the BV Landmark store. We browsed the store and chatted with the SAs (who were quite obviously bemused we knew so much about the brand). We then moved on to check out the rest of the stores (Valextra, Roger Vivier etc).
Nymph then joined us and we proceeded to have lunch at Harvey Nichols - a good choice as it was really conducive for girl talks and loads of eye candies for bags (Hermes and BV) as well as celebraties and socialites. (We spotted HK star Melissa Ng and her 40cm Black Birkin seated 2 tables away).
The 3 of us hit off like we were long time friends catching up and couldn't stop yakking (talking). And we were so excited to meet we completely forgot to take pics of ourselves nor the bags! It's funny how we are all from Singapore and ended up meeting in HK instead. We gotta do one meet here in Singapore, yeah.
mrsDIY88 was really sweet to share her favourite shopping haunts and tips. Needless to say I managed to score more buys thanks to her, LOL. And yes, DH and I bumped into
Nymph and her friend when we checked out the Apple Mall recommended by
mrsDIY88. They do have great stuff there and I found a lovely dress.
HK is indeed the shopping mecca of Asia (excl Japan), there's really no doubt about it!! There's a wide variety of choices and service (most times) are wonderful. And not forgetting the strong Singapore dollar is really to our advantage.
No bags for me this trip but loads of shoes (I'm a shoe freak when not into bags) and a little something from BV and H. I will post the buys and pics of HK later tonight when I get home. Stay tune!
