Hi ladies, what do you think about these two styles? To me they are quite similar. For those of you who have tried or owned both bags, which one do you prefer? Thanks!

Ah the age-old question! You will find some old threads on this.
For me == I chose Pyramid because it was big enough (Sloane even bigger) and it has a zipper. (Even though I liked the covered rings on Sloane, I decided I could live with the sportier look of metal rings.) |

They are quite similar.
For me, I prefer Sloane - I let my Pyramid go because at my height (5'8") & weight (*#^!) the proportion just didn't look right. Otherwise I think they are both great bags and the Pyramid actually shoulders better than the Sloane. If the Pyramid were a tad longer I would still own it.

lemontart: You might want to check this link out. I found it very useful when I was faced with a similar predicament. Two extra links are embedded on the 3rd page of this thread. Good luck!
Help me decide sloane or pyramid |

lemontart, I had the same decision.
I love the look of Sloane expecially the rings. But I tried it on at BV shop and found it too big on me. I am 5'5" - 100 lbs. The base of sloane seems too wide for me. But that's a new bag. It might slouch better with age. I tried on the pyramid and it suited me better. I ended up with nero pyramid. I still find it a bit big. May be it's the color too. |

Pyramid. Zipper closure, and not as wide. Excellent slouch/drop. I personally find the Sloane flap opening to be annoying.

Thanks everyone for the input! By looking at the pictures I think pyramid will fit better on me. The bottom of sloane does look big and wide and it might be not too comfy fitting under my arm, but I do like the ring on sloane more.
