Default Should I sell Baltic for Nero?
I've found a (supposedly) authentic Med Pleated Veneta at an OK price. As you can see from my signature, I do not have any black bags. Not that I really really mind but I thought one should at least have a black bag right?

And my ideal black bag would be a medium pleated veneta coz BV is just so classy. And I love the pleated veneta.

I can't justify keeping both the Baltic (also in medium) and buy the Nero.

So, should I sell the Baltic and get the Nero? Or should I forget about the need to have a black bag?

Everyone needs a great black bag. Are you sure there's no other BV bag in Nero that floats your boat? What about the Nero Tornabuoni Veneta? (assuming you like the Veneta style) Or a Cabat? (enabling attempt...) Or even another brand?

They are unlikely to repeat Baltic so if you're absolutely in love with that color then you should keep it. My philosophy is there will always be a dream black bag that will come along hence my tendency to buy colorful bags also (see my avatar). Good luck in deciding!

Keep the Baltic! There are a gazillion gorgeous black bags out there for you to get and I myself have 16. I never get tired of black as much as I love all my colors.

Thanks ladies. I do like Baltic I think it's a pretty unique colour. But I do not want to add any more bags to my collection.

Maybe I'll just wait and see further.

Please don't sell your baltic...it's such a lovely colour and it'll be so hard to find again especially in the pleated veneta. I still regret not getting the eclipse pleated veneta. I'm sure you be able to find a beautiful black BV in another style someday.

sngsk/aaa_1188 : True that Baltic is such a lovely colour. I've also told Beck77 that the other "concern" I have is that if I traded the Baltic for Nero I'll not have a blue bag in my collection. The most ideal is to trade a red bag for a black bag, but knowing how much I like all my red bags, it seemed rather tough.

Anyway, the seller sent me pictures and I think it's a Large Pleated Veneta rather than Medium. Not that it gives me an excuse, but in fact, it'll make my decision easier as I felt the Large is too big for me.

Anyway, I prefer the pleated veneta over the regular veneta for sure.

Other brand black bags? I'm considering between BV, Prada or Miu Miu. Maybe I'll just be patient.

Baltic is such a great blue...one of those color shifting blues. It goes with so much.

I love my Baltic!

That said, I also have one black bag, the cervo hobo. Maybe you should wait until you find a nero bag in a style you don't already have?

I'm sorry, I just don't understand this line of reasoning.

(Glad you are keeping Baltic - it's gorgeous!)
