Removable shoulder straps !!!!! I seriously need a BV wide shoulder strap for my cervo satchel and san marco tote. Women's shoulder straps are just way too thin that hurt my shoulder. |

annelovepuggy,
i've had both bags for a little bit over a year now. but i do interchange them with my other non-BV bags. too be honest, i am not too thrilled with the thin leather shoulder strap at all! the clasp broke after 3 months and i had to wait about another 3 months for it to be replaced from italy! in the end, i used the wider shoulder strap from the laptop bag alsmot exclusively with this gym bag. the webbing shoulder strap for the briefcase/laptop bag is far sturdier. but even though i only put laptop and documents in it, the weight has caused the metal clasp to erode! i think the weight must have caused the two metal components to rub against each other! furthermore, you should also know that after one month of use, the zipper of the front pocket also gave out and had to be replaced. the leather on the BV bags are probably the saving grace. so far, i can't really say that i am thrilled with the quality of the non-leather components! let's hope that they don't give me more troubles! |

i think because of the rather smooth leather they used on the inside of the wallets as well as how they handle the display models, almost all croc wallets i've seen in BV shops are "disfigured" significantly both INSIDE and OUTSIDE. almost all of them had finger smudges as well as scratches! upon me pointing out, the SA had to take out some sort of lotion and start applying them to smooth them out in front of me on some of the wallets, which of course, i rejected! (but deosn't this strike you as odd?!) in the end, they transferred a brand new one from another store (not from display) and also a display model. they were happy to sell me either even though the display model has already acquired a patina and looks quite "handled". to be blunt, it looks like a second hand. my guess is that they only have one pc of croc in stock and are therefore obliged to sell that piece, despite the condition it is in. is this normal? |

The BV boutiques usually don't have too many croc pieces (since they don't sell as well as an intrecciato one) - 1 to 3 of each. I'm glad to hear that they transferred another one for you. I wouldn't have bought it if I saw scratches, especially since we are spending this much on a wallet.

My guess the clasp of your gym bag is a clamp/claw feet just like our lady's [shoulder strap clasp]. It's pretty but I always wonder how much it can hold up ! It'd nice if I can order that fabric/webbing shoulder strap. Anyway, thanks for sharing your experiences of using BV [heavily, at least more than I do]; it's nice to know good and not so good.

i did try asking to order the other one as well but BV said we couldn't! so I am a bit dreading the day that goes out of order (and i know it will judging from the erosion on the edges it currently has already!)
