For those of you who have seen the elephant armatura....is it more of a pinkish color??? I have been staring at doloresmia's pics for 45 minutes trying to figure it out. Some of the pics look more like the ash, and some are quite pink. I DON'T want a pink bag, but I did see the orginal armatura in Hawaii and it was lovely. How does this one compare IRL??? I am nervous to order sight unseen and then end up with a pink bag. Thanks!

i have not seen it in real life, yet, but if you are looking for something more ash, i think you are safer getting the original armatura. sorry to be so helpless.

If you want to see it in real life have it sent on approval to check it out. I've done that before and as a matter of fact that is how I'm having my Armatura Veneta sent since I haven't seen that style in Armatura IRL, only the Pyramid. They send a return label in the box. I'm sure I won't be using mine.
I've never sent anything back yet.

Can you ladies recommend a SA to work with in Hawaii? There are 2 store locations in Honolulu. Which one should I call?
I would like to order the elephant armatura in the large veneta. Thanks! |

When I was in Hawaii I mostly went to the Kalalaua Ave. location on Waikiki, simply because it was closer to where I was staying. The SA I worked with at that location was Debbie, she was very helpful and patient (it took me several days and visits to make a decision). I did go to the Ala Moana store also, just for fun
, and of course bought something there too LOL! I know the ladies on this forum have dealt extensively with Bryan, but I am not sure which store he works out of. I am sure Doloresmia can tell which location he is at. Please post picks when you get it!!!

Thank you Olympia177. I've migrated myself from the Chanel forum because after all these years of buying handbags...I've concluded that BV and Goyard has the best quality bags out there. I love vintage Chanels but the new Chanels have been one disappointment after another so I quit!
I hope they have elephant armatura left and if I can get one I will sure post pics! |

^^Bryan is at Kalakaua Ave, too. I've worked with him before, and he's excellent. I've heard great things about Debbie as well.
Can't wait to see the elephant armatura, BlushPeony! |

I just ordered the Elephant Armatura from Aya! I ordered before I could wait for a reply. I was too excited. I should get it on Monday. I also ordered a vintage Chanel so Monday will be an exciting day for me.
I will post pics. I love the Armatura too. Is it too close to the Elephant one? The copper one is on sale at Saks now. Gosh...all of these choices... |
