Anyone one of you know if the colour old petra is still available??

I just purchased my Old Petra Sloane from BF in Jan 2008 - so keep checking on BF - they may have the odd OP bag every now and then. Overstock.com might have some old seasonal colors too.

There are two old petra bags on BlueFly right now - the flap satchel like I bought last week (yes, I still owe pictures to everyone) and something called a "flower tote". Check them out!!

Even better, SaskiaS, I just noticed an old petra Roma on eBay - didn't look into it any further but it is definitely worth checking out if you are both a Roma fan and an old petra fan, as I think you are!

BUt I dont really wanna buy a bag over Ebay. I really wanna buy it in store. I had bad experience with ebay.

Is there a chance to find it or is it just available in sites like BlueFly etc-- better said are there only left over available?!

Well, old petra is a SS07 colour so I would think you are not going to find it easily in the boutiques, but you could always try the personal shopper at the number on the BV website just in case there might be something somewhere. Another option is calling the outlets - I don't know if old petra is old enough to have made its way there but it might be worth a try too.

And yes, eBay is risky and I have had a bad experience there too, but if you are careful it can still be an invaluable source for things you can't find otherwise.

I had an SA at a BV boutique do a search for the classic ball bag, sloane, new pyramid or tote in old petra, and she said they had no bags in that color left in the system. She did say there might be a few wallets left. I don't know if the personal shopper could come up with anything else, but as I mentioned in the other thread, its possible to do a special order to get the bag that you want in old petra. But I'd like to second BookerMouse's suggestion to check the outlets, that's a great idea!

I saw an Old Petra Roma like mine on Overstock, its a gorgeous bag. Good luck. Don't rule out BlueFly, I've had good luck with them. Almost snagged a ferro Roma today, but played around too long with it in my cart.
