LT oh my...I knew it, I was supposed to add that I saw this photo of a little girl with the black murakami mini sac...I saw it at the LV forum, it was your DD all along! Lovely DD's you have there, very very pretty young fashionistas in the making!

It really is fun having DD around now that she likes playing dress up. She loves all sorts of purses, I am now looking into those mini venetas for her hey, its Christmas, right!?!?!

Has anyone seen the Michael Jackson movie? I just got back from it and I thought it was great. Anyone who is close to Michael's age, will be amazed how well he could still dance and sing.

It was edited from many, many hours of filming, so I am sure they only showed the best clips--BUT, he looked in great shape. I would have loved to have seen one of the real concerts.

It was very sad too.

ssc, I'd love to see This Is It but as always probably wait for the dvd to come out. (My husband has been working on a home theatre project.) Everything else aside, MJ's sense of rhythm is phenomenal, extraordinary, and out of this world. I am always in awe when I see him dance.

jburgh, from my belly veneta thread, how was Men Who Stare at Goats? I love all four main actors and am curious how they worked together?

I saw it a week ago and was mesmerized by it. Would like to see it again. Besides MJ's obvious talent, what it takes to put together a concert like that is amazing and makes you understand why tickets cost what they do.

George Clooney is a great comic actor. And one of my all time favorite movies is the Big Lebowski. That said, the Goats movie was OK. There were lots of funny parts, but overall maybe a 6.5/10. Something in it just seemed to be missing for me.

That's disappointing. The trailer makes the movie look hysterical. Might wait for this to come to dvd. It's so hard to get a sitter and fit a night out into the schedule. I want the movie to be great.

Hmm, that's too bad. I love George Clooney as a comic actor too. O Brother, Where Art Thou? was fantastic.

Ewan McGregor and Hugh Laurie was in my dream this morning, loved it!!

Exactly, zooba! All the funny parts were in the trailer. I hate when that happens.

did you see "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" He is a scream in that movie. I very seldom watch movies several times and I have seen that at least 20 times (we have the dvd)!

Mid--I just saw your note about the same movie. It makes me laugh just to think about that
movie.

Unfortunately, I know the movie well enough to tell you some of my favorite George Clooney lines:

"Damn, we're in a tight spot!"

"I don't want FOP Damn it, I'm a Dapper Dan Man!"

Pete: Wait a minute. Who elected you leader of this outfit?

Ulysses Everett McGill
: Well Pete, I figured it should be the one with the capacity for abstract thought. But if that ain't the consensus view, then hell, let's put it to a vote.
