I agree!I have only 2 Hermès bags, but I will not buy more. I like BV more then Hermès, the style and the leather of BV is wonderful! And I hate it too, to wait a few months for a bag.

Hermès customer policy isn't for me and the bags I don't like except the Kelly and the Evelyne!!

I don't own any Hermes bags, but I have browsed through them at the boutiques. They just don't grab me the way the BV bags do. There is something about the BV leather, it is just so soft, and the bags are very understated, which I love.

I have only really been interested in ANY handbags for the last year and a bit - BV was what caused me to fall in love and continues to grab me now. I love the leather and the look and the feel of them.

I can't say that Hermes has really called out to me since I started to get interested in bags - I can see the quality and understand the status but I really am too shy to ever be comfortable carrying an expensive bag knowing that my friends (or even strangers on the street) KNOW is an expensive bag. Instead, I feel like BV is my secret - Vancouver really is a BV wasteland and even the lawyers I work with here who do seem to know about designer bags, don't seem to know anything about BV and therefore I can carry my BVs and enjoy them for myself, but stay under the radar, which is where I feel most comfortable. And I just don't think that would be the case if I came to work carrying a Birkin or a Kelly!

Stormy, that's what I love too, that de BV bags are very understated. That's why I have lost my enthusiasm for LV. I don't need my bags for a better self-confidence!
BV will be my first love in the future, I'm shure!! These bags have a wonderful processing, absolutely beautiful leather, and I don't see it so often like LV...
