Hi, I was at Milan BV about a week ago. They had a nero pyramid hanging on a stand. I asked about other colors and SA showed me one which she called it the color 'gray'. The color was a lighter version of nero/black. I didn't think it was ferro as it didn't have any silvery glint, and she confirmed that it was not, and that it was a seasonal color. So, perhaps it was the color 'night'. I bought the bag at the end, which I thought was more interesting than a plain dark black bag. Is there a way to check the color code from the bag itself?

Check the authenticity tag inside the interior zipped pocket. The last four numbers will give you the colour code. Congrats on the bag and pls don't forget to post pics.

Hi, I didn't have much opportunity to do anything until this weekend. The last 4-digit code on the tag in the bag is 1108. I find that the color is a lighter matt shade of black, and if you don't compare with other black bags, you might think that it is black. It's more grey/black than grey/blue to me. The leather also doesn't feel as soft as say, the nappa of a campana. But I think it will soften over time.

I've attached a picture. It's my first time posting a picture, so I hope it appears. As the color you see in the photo may not be the most accurate rendition of the actual color, it's better to have a look it in the boutique if you can.

I saw this color on a men's messenger bag at So. Coast Plaza store and I, too, thought it was more gray-black .. a lovely color

what a coincidence, i'm also currently considering a sloane in 1108 color! At first I thought it was ferro as well.
How lucky that I ran across this thread and can understand more about this color. Here is the "official" picture of the 1108 "night" sloane, but I wonder how accurate it is... Also, BV colors are so complex, they are often hard to capture accurately.
Can someone who's seen the color IRL comment on how accurate this picture is? Thanks!
