Default Need Help Identifying Bag Please :-)
I got this stingray bag from the Bottega outlet about a week or so ago. I was wondering if anyone knows the collection this bag came from? Also, was it a limited edition piece?

Thanks!

Hi Ranag, good to see you here! What a beautiful piece, love the colour and the stingray! The bag is known as the Cocker. I'm not sure which season it's from but I do know it should be a limited edition piece.

I just love this bag!!! I've been eyeing it for quite a while, but even on sale it's over my budget. It's so unique, enjoy the lovely color and precious leather!!

Thank you lawbabe! It was marked down 40% off the outlet price, so it was a deal that I absolutely could not pass up Purple is one of my favorite colors and I absolutely adore stingray, so I am definitely in love

This bag is featured in the Fall/Winter 2006/2007 catalog. Retail was $4550. They call it a small Cocker, color is called Malva. The stitching looks like it's from the zig-zag line. If it's a limited edition there would be a metal plaque inside with the details. They probably didn't make a lot of these, but I don't think it's limited edition.

Nice deal, Rana!

This is just about the best sale price I've ever seen on a BV! It would be like me getting a large Cabat for $2500--ain't gonna happen!

Congratulations!

I too saw this bag at the Cabazon outlet. Fell in love with it the first time I saw it, but at the time it was priced higher and I could not justify buying it. But it was absolutely gorgeous. One thing I noticed is that when you wear it with a knit top (e.g., cashmere, wool) it will pull/snag against it because of the stingray texture, so you may want to take care when wearing such tops. Otherwise, it's absolutely stunning.
