Hello everybody! I'm usually hanging out at the Chanel forum but lately I have been lurking at the BV ever since I got my first large veneta in magnolia... Anyway, I just got off the phone with Maggie from the BV in Manhasset (she's super sweet!) and my Sloane in Ottone is on it's way to me!!!! I'm so excited!

It's going to be traveling quite a distance because I'm back in Singapore visiting my parents and I just can't wait till April when I return to NY to see it! The thought of my sloane in its box, stuffed in my closet is more than I can bear. Besides, shipping was free.

I just wanted to share... and I'll definitely post pictures when I get it! (:

boxermom, i'll definitely take pictures! i'm already mentally picking out the clothes i'm going wear with my bag...

ahh, just got a call back from my SA. shipping is not free internationally... it's $50! hmm... can i wait? mmmm, nope! i'm tooo excited!

$50 is so worth it to have it soon, it's like a small bleep in the big picture of owning an ottone sloane!!

manhasset is where i shop and i saw the ottone sloane there, it's beautiful, you'll love it, $50 is nothing compared to how much love you'll have for it.

i love the BV boutique SAs at Manhasset, the nicest and sincerest people of all the lux shops I have dealt with (and i have dealt with many).

congrats on the sloane, i love that style!

I guess Canada's considered "international", right? Man, if it were free, I think my phones would be dialing up BV right now...Not that I'm not willing to pay $50, it's just that I don't like paying extra, even if it's $5. Hahaha...silly me.

Big congrats!! I'm disappointed that my friend did not get this bag but picked up the Chanel instead. This is a beautiful bag and ottone is a very wearable color like catabie, bunkie and syma said. I'm on a purse ban now or I would have gotten it myself. The more I think about it, the more I feel my ban will be broken anytime. That feeling is both exciting and scary.

What's the price of this bag now, if you don't mind me ask?

hi dolphingirl, i have to thank you for your thread! it spurred me into action! the bag costs $2480 and i was pleasantly surprised by the price, (must have become desensetized because of the constant Chanel price increases!!!!) i half expected it to be over 3K because of how luxurious it is

...

there are still a couple pieces floating around... i totally think this is a bag worth breaking your ban for... i'm DONE with bags for a loooooong while after this! (:
