Default My oceano Montaigne has arrived!
Unfortunately I'm at work and it is at home - but DH peeked in the package and says it looks beautiful!

I can't wait to get home!!

I laugh at the thought of a modelling picture with me in it being called "eye candy" - but I'll be sure to post some artistic pictures of it without me, brandless! I'm not sure if I can meet the lofty heights jburgh did with her pictures of her oceano Montaigne (remember the one with the "corgi size comparison"?!), especially as they were taken in the SUN and I've forgotten exactly what that is with the weather we've been having lately - but I'll do my best!!!

I'm just popping in to say Congratulations BookerMoose! I still don't have internet at the new house (long story), so I've hopped onto my bother's wireless network. The Oceano is a beautiful color, and the Montaigne, a perfect bag. Getting it on sale is the hat trick. So, you are branching out now...a bag that is not the color of a beagle! Well, if the hounds could be blue, I'm sure they would choose that shade, lol. Wear your new bag in the best of health. It will remind you of the blue sky over the Pacific...remember that? Still raining down here in Seattle.

Oh I'm sure you'll do a great job. It would be fun to see your complete Montaigne family, though. I'm so excited for you!

Thanks everyone! I'm stroking it as I write this - unfortunately the pictures may have to work until after work tomorrow though, as the washing machine repairman is here right now (I'm not sure I want him to know ALL about my obsessions having just met...) and then we have to go out to dinner with relatives who are visiting Vancouver today... But I'll get the full family shots as soon as I can! My old petra flap top satchel also points out that it has yet to receive its debut here either, and I've had it for months now...

Oh - and jburgh - oceano does remind me of blue sky, or at least how I remember blue sky looked, not that I have seen it for what seems like MONTHS (I think the only good weather in the Pacific Northwest this spring was while we were in Ottawa and New York in May... where it was pouring!).
