Well, I have been sitting on the fence for almost a year about getting my first BV. Today I took the plunge and got the lotus Veneta on the sale.

I actually wanted the carmino but lotus is my secret passion, which I can finally justify with the sale. I wonder why they don't make the carmino a permanent colour, they got it so right with the red tone! I am wary about light colours but it is a good substitute to getting a rose dragee H - my other secret passion.

Apparently the prices after sales here are about the same price as HK retail. It was $32xx and I got it for $22xx after 30% off.

I didn't know a mirror comes with it, it was a nice surprise finding it in the pocket!

The leather is so *smooooooooshy* and it is so lightweight, unlike my kelly.

Is there supposed to be any box? I asked for a box but they said BV bags don't come with boxes? Have I been bamboozled?

It's a beautiful color. I ordered my Veneta online from BV and it did come with a box.

I've never received a BV bag with a box. Only the small accessories or shoes. So no, you haven't been cheated out of a box. I didn't even know they had any large boxes for bags.

When I first saw the Lotus color I fell in love with it too. Ended up getting the Aurora color in a large Veneta, but I think you got a GREAT deal and a beautiful classic bag.

That is a really good deal! I saw it at the stores yesterday but just bought my Carmine large Veneta [not on sale :( ] so couldn't justify another. I don't trust myself with a light coloured expensive bag as I like to fling my bags around. I would just leave it lying around. Only my evening bags get stored in dustbags.
As you guys can tell, I'm very lazy. LOL. . .I really want to get a wallet but not sure whether to get the oceano on sale. Hmmm.. .. .

but it's such a pretty color! i already have a veneta in magnolia so i am resisting the lotus........ now how about some modelling pix? (:

Do BV bags come with authenticity cards? I just received mine and it didn't come with one.

My BV bag didn't come with a box. My wallet did, but neither had authenticity cards. I didn't care about the box, but DID care about the cards, since I tend to keep everything together in the event I want to sell our trade down the road. I contacted the BV boutique, and they said they stopped putting cards in the bags, leaving only the authentication tag sewn into the pocket.
