Hello everyone,

I'm a newbie to BV. I was browsing another forum and saw a picture of this wonderful BV. I searched the BV threads and assesed that this is from a prior season. Does this bag pop up on E-bay occasionally? If so, what is the average listing price? Does it come in a variety of colors and how do BV bags withstand the elements? I've visited the BV boutique a number of times and the bags seem to be of fantastic quality. Thanks!

I've seen this fortune cookie or Aquilone style pop up on ebay, usually in solid colors. There is a multicolored one up now for $1700.

chica1 - there has been one of the orange ones (and a burgundy one with more of a pattern on it) available for quite a while now at www.portero.com - make sure to check them out. I just looked and the orange one isn't there - but it may come back because I think there is a bit of a lag after one auction ends and the next one starts if there is no buyer.

I haven't ever bought from there but it seems to be okay - I know I have seen it advertising in the New York Times, for what that is worth! To me it definitely looks like an upscale consignment/auction site, with art and jewelery in addition to handbags - but does anyone else here have any experience with them?

The orange bag isn't back up yet either - I swear it has been there for MONTHS, but wouldn't it just be typical (at least for my luck) that just when you mention you are looking for one it disappears after being there for so long. I really hope that isn't the case!

Portero is good. I bought a Tag watch from them and was quite pleased.

Thanks for the recommendations! The site has a ton of great bags up for auction! My wallet is probably going to be sorry I found Bottega Venata. BV bags are beautiful!
