Default My First New BV Bag
While in Las Vegas, staying at the gorgeous Bellagio, where the BV store is only an elevator ride away, I purchased a couple of goodies:

To be honest, a few months ago, I had no inkling as to the beauty of Bottega Veneta Bags, but our dear friend Kroquet led me down the path of quiet obsession.

Here she is, she's made of Deerskin and is Nero. She has no name, but she is a lovely, slouchy, soft, cuddly bundle of BV love!!!!

Also picked up a couple of knot bracelets, the copper is my daughter's, who begged me to buy her a Sloane. Are you kidding me???

Thanks so much Kroquet. Can't wait to carry her. I love the handle and the bottom of the bag, so purty!!!!
I am pretty sure that the SA said they had it in another color, maybe Ebano, but it sold out as soon as it hit the shelves. It's relatively reasonably priced so I think its a nice "beginner BV"!

Perfect to start and gradually move into the ebano Sloane, right???

That bag looks like it hugs you when carried.

beautiful bag. can't wait to see action shots if you are comfortable with doing that.
i love bv deerskin and nero is one of my favorite colors. never gets dirty and goes with everything. i don't believe the more reasonable bv's are "beginner bv's". one of my favorite bags in my collection is one of the simplest and least expensive. they are all beautiful leather and high quality. enjoy your first bv and will look forward to many more reveals. i do hope someone warned you that bv is addictive.

Thanks so much for your kind comments Annie (that's my DDs name, by the way, love it!!). I am truly in awe of the quality and beauty of this bag. There is nothing about it that I don't love. It's perfect!! I have been warned of the addiction, and am already trying to decide how and when I'll add a Sloane to my collection. That's my holy grail at the moment!!!!!

Beautiful choices, mombug! I love BV's deerskin; have had several bags in Cervo. Those knot braided bracelets are cool.

Gosh, to stay in a hotel where a BV store is so close is my idea of heaven. When I stay downtown Chicago, my favorite hotel is around the corner from BV. I literally don't have to cross a street to get there :-)

Yay for kroquet, our grand enabler!

Congratulations Mombug!!
And the credit goes to Kroquet.
Your bag looks very nice and comfy.
I love the detail at the bottom : )

BV is addictive.
How long do we have to wait for your second reveal ; ) though?
I love that your DD asked for a sloane.
Did she know how much it costs though?

Congrats again!
