Default My First BV's are Fraternal not Identical Twins!!
Hi BV lovers!!! I have 2 new additions to add to my growing handbag collection and for the first time they are Bottega Veneta's I have a black patent wallet that I love and now because of Sak's F&F I splurged on not one but two BV's. They are both Veneta's but one is pleated and one likes to walk on the wild side . I just got them home an hour ago and tried them on and the Zebra seemed a little big. I put a couple of cans of soup in it (jburgh) and took a pic and when I look at the pic I don't feel like I'm swallowed up by it all the way it feels when I just look in the mirror. In the pics it looks like I have the shoulders to carry it off. Sometimes I think a detached perspective helps a little. What do you guys think?? The braided snake edging bordering the Zebra is gorgeous and although I love them both I'm really drawn to the Zebra. It's perfect for year 'round, not light and not dark and the shades are cool rather than warm which works best for my coloring. I can see it with a pair of jeans and a white shirt and a wine colored velvet jacket for something different than black and white which I love. The purple is very deep and yummy and I'm glad it is actually darker than the pics I've seen because of it being a pretty large bag, it's subtle rather than a bright purple. I don't know why I'm worried about being subtle that's the last thing my own F&F would accuse me of being!! So I won't run on any more and BTW my plan is to keep both unless they look rediculously big.

They are both gorgeous on you! Good thing you can keep them both, because I wouldn't be able to choose. I like the tiger-painted Veneta much better "on" than just in a photo display.

Congrats!

Bichon Lover they both look fabulous on you!!!!!! Thanks for such wonderful pictures. I like them both, I don't think I could pull of the Tiger Veneta- but you most definitely can! I love the color on the pleated Veneta- not too bright at all. Keep them both and thanks again for the pictures. They help so much for people like me that can't just go and try BV on...

They're both gorgeous. Keep them both if you can. I love the Turbolence. I got to try on the tiger one, but it was in medium and too small for me.

The more I see the pleated, the more I love it! They both look fab on you!

I have a montaigne in turbolence and let me tell you I love the color and it is so much more wearable than you initially think. Both bags look fab on you! Congrats!

Are these in the large or maxi? I love my large veneta, and i'm only 5-1 (plus on the small side). I think you should put your daily stuff in the venetas and see how it drapes. It really does follow your body, and the more you use it, the more "personal" it seems!
The tigre print really suits you!

bichon lover - you look stunning!!!! OMG that tiger is TOO DIE FOR and you KNOW my reservations about animal prints. however, with the black suit - vavavavoom!!!! i actually do not think they look too big. however, if you are not comfortable with the size then that is a style preference. to me they are perfect on you. you could always get the medium tiger since you love the bag.....

BL - Well, well...here you are with 2 Venetas. This is what happens. Jimmy Choo is the "Gateway Drug" to Bottega Veneta. The Tiger Veneta looks so much better than a store display photo. A lot more subtle on a person. It looks great on you, BL...definitely a keeper. And the Turbolence...fabulous! Your concern about them being a little too big? They will slouch with time. I have worn my Turbolence (same size) about 20 days total, and it already has a nice slouch.

It would be to tough for me to decide between the two. But, you know I am a woman with 8 (omg, it just hit me ) Mahalas. When I love a style, it is never a problem for me to have different colors/leathers.

And don't those Venetas smell intoxicating? No other brands will give you that endorphin release after smelling, lol!

Congrats on two stunning bags! I love your modeling pix with the turbolence Veneta....Great color and it looks like the perfect size. The tiger Veneta looks classic with a hint of an edge!

Two beautiful purses and a great (F & F) deal.....
