Introducing...Miss Veneta. She arrived today, the result of a happy eBay transaction. And of course some major league enabling on the part of BookerMoose and Bunkie. Miss Veneta is a size large and her exterior is the beautiful Carmino Royale. She is just my color, as they say, "If you were a crayon, what color would you be?" Well, I am a red crayon.

This is my first Veneta and the size large is perfect. She is just big enough for what I normally carry. The large Veneta fits well on the shoulder and has good balance. What can I say about the leather that we all already don't know?

I have a digital SLR, but I have not mastered it yet. So, this time it was auto everything on a bright afternoon with indirect sunlight.

goooorgeous!! is that size bigger than regular large venetas or the same? it looks bigger, but it may just be your beautiful pictures.

Oh thank you for the kind words everyone. This bag is a regular size large. You know, I said it was my first Veneta, but I actually have a Maxi Intagli Intrecciato Veneta. For some reason I never think of that one as the Veneta style, though it clearly is. It just seems to be another species of bag to me. I have a mental block with that one and it even baffles me.
