Smile Longest BV streak? Share your BV history!
We all know BV is addictive, but is BV all you covet and buy? Thinking back, except for a Chanel 2.55 Reissue and a Chanel diamond stitch that followed my first BV, every bag I’ve purchased has been BV! Same goes for wallets and pouches.
So this is my history, streak in terms of bags only is 3 (sounds like such a small number, gotta step up my game)
Veneta (large, Ebano) à 2 Chanels (sorry!) à wallet (Continental, Limo) à coin case (Ebano) à cosmetics pouch (purple Ottone) à Intriccato Cocker (Pergamena) à Veneta (medium, Old Petra) à Sloane (Ottone) à bifold wallet (Baltic, fresh from BlueFly sale!)

Share your histories, ladies!

ok, let's see- I started with a classic: large nero veneta. Then bough a corallo comstic pouch. Then an amazing find: royal corallo large veneta. From here on, I am not so sure about the sequence of events, as everything happened so quickly and I started buying from outlets too: a purple snakeskin coin purse key ring, two sandals (man and women), a large poudre Julie tote, ebano men's belt, purple ottone ladies' belt,an ebano deerskin braided handle bag with the swirly design- a green cosmetic pouch with the same design. A small pleated purple bag, a large zip around woven purple wallet (with grommets, ), nero woven continental wallet, and most recently: the most amazing bag I've ever owned: a purple limited edition cocker, with snakeskin swirly design- the same design Syma has. I hope I did not leave any of the beauties out...In the meantime, I also bought a Miu Miu large shopper, which I like because of its size, but I hate how it smells- nothing can beat the lovely smell and feel of BVs!
All this happened in a year, before that I did not know anything about BV

First, I succumbed to the call of the medium veneta in a lovely limo color. Then I dropped by BV and saw a lovely little bag in ebano color and thought how perfect it would be to bring out to the movies or late night dinners. My sister thought so too, so she asked if she could have the bag. Then, I went crazy in BV's flagship store in HK, deciding that I should have the medium campana in an ebano color, a camel belt, a black rope belt, and an iron bag in nero to replace the one that went to my sister.

I told myself to get a grip, but then I went back to the flagship store again during Chinese New Year and saw the nero old ball bag and my heart melted. This is currently my workhorse bag and I love its subtlety and beauty, the fact that it holds a lot and drapes beautifully when worn.

Then I went halfway around the world to search for the ottone clutch, but instead found a lovely Hermes picotin bag and a reversible black box/chocolate togo belt. I went back home, only to find the most helpful SA in tpf, and got a happy ending for my ottone clutch search. Then, I asked the SA to include an armatura phone strap that I can strap onto the clutch (insurance for when those clumsy moments strike).

Currently I am waiting for my SO -- a peltro clutch -- that will be so perfect for the holidays

I started small with an oceano phone strap. Then a three-item purchase at a June sale: Deep blue patent large foldover clutch, glacier card/coin case, glacier foldover cervo clutch. Yesterday I got a New Ball in baltic and a double-zip cosmetic case in silvaplana (kind of a gray/blue/green color).

I have my eye on a large campana, a couple of bracelets, and one of those adorable coin purses on a chain.

Haven't bought anything but BV in a long time.

Before my love affair with BV started, I had a brief inclination for MJ (not sure what I was thinking and the bags are just too heavy! ). Then I treaded into Tods. I sold my MJ and Tod's when I found BV.

After I got over the sticker shocker of $1k+ bags, my love for BV grew. My first love - large ebano veneta. Then came a lot of shoes: BV carmino flats, gold flat sandals, metallic thong flats, camel pumps... (I have a slight thing for shoes ) After that I fell in love with the color peltro and bought a continental long wallet & makeup pouch. I also bought a purple python wallet which I sold because the leather was delicate.

I have a thing for all exquisite little things and proceeded to buy knot clutches like there's no tomorrow: purple croc knot clutch, bronze watersnake knot clutch, brown/purple interwoven knot clutch which I sold. Too bad I lead a boring life and haven't used them once! I can't bear to sell the first two though.

I special ordered a carmino campana but haven't had the heart to use it.

I do regret returning the nero old ball and with the price increases, I did not repurchase. I wanted it to be my work bag but then thought it to be too similar to my veneta. I also regret returning the ottone flap clutch.

In between, I bought a Chanel black medium caviar classic flap which I love for evenings where I need to carry more. I started to peek into Hermes and love the kelly wallet, Kelly & Birkin. However my current casual lifestyle is pushing me towards the cabat.

I've been contemplating whether cabat would work for me as a workhouse bag. Nero or peltro, nero or peltro...

I think a Cabat would be a great workhouse bag. You could stuff a book, files and paperwork in there, a bottle of water, an extra comfy pair of shoes, all kinds of work things.

Okay, here goes. It was about a year ago now that I discovered BV, and then within the next several months I acquired:

Noce Montaigne
Nero Montaigne
Bianco Montaigne
Carmino Montaigne (anyone see a trend developing?)
Noce Large Cosmetic Case
Nero Long Zip-Around Wallet
Nero Medium Cosmetic Case
Red Ladybug Coin Purse
Tan Fish Coin Purse
Nero Two-Handle/Cinched Tote
Old Petra Flap Top Satchel
Bianco Tab Wallet
Nero Card Holder
Red Fish Coin Purse
Nero Frog Coin Purse
Nero Laptop Bag (for DH)
Nero Wallet (for DH)
Nero Cheque Cover (for DH)
Oceano Montaigne
Leopard Print Montaigne
Leopard Print Long Zip-Around Wallet
Nero Zip Card Case

Nothing for the past couple of months - although I did cheat on BV a little bit with a couple of Balenciaga Box bags for my more casual moments, but I've covered black and tan now with those, so I think that is it (and the Box is a discontinued style from a few years ago so I doubt I'll come across any more).

Next on the BV list would be an Ottone Bracelet (fingers crossed)! Then maybe something bronzy from the upcoming Spring/Summer collection?!?
