So I should probably start at the beginning...

I placed my first ever SO request just before Christmas. I had mulled it over for some time and decided that I had to have it... And if doing a SO was the only way, so be it. So a late night email to Bryan in the middle of a snowstorm - please go for it!

I waited, and waited. I knew the waiting time coincided with the Christmas break and therefore tried not to worry when 3 weeks passed with no word, then more time... Still silence.

Finally I heard the news from Bryan. REJECTED. The words stung when I first read them - as if I had been slapped on the wrist personally be Mr. Maier for having questionable taste.

But wait - there was more...

There was a reason given for the rejection and it was hopeful... The SO was unnecessary because the very bag I wanted had actually already been ordered and made for someone else in the world - and they were arranging to get it to me from there instead of doing a SO!

So rather than waiting months, I would only have to wait for the arrangements to be made to ship it to the US and then to me. And yesterday I received word it had arrived in sunny Hawaii and is therefore now only one more hop, skip and a jump away from me! And I now even have pictures of it!

Any guesses of what "it" is?!?

OMG!!!! It has to be a montaigne, right? But in what? Ottone? Peltro? An exotic? Are you getting someone else's SO or did they duplicate another? Pictures huh? I don't see them!

Jburgh - being at work never stopped me from being here! Actually I woke up early, saw Bryan's email, posted my message, then promptly fell back to sleep! I really hate getting up - but I think I'm awake for good now...

Everyone who said Montaigne is right (okay, I see no one else said anything except Montaigne... am I that predictable?). Some of you are closer than others. I am just on my BlackBerry so can't post pictures yet - so I'm going to keep you guessing WHAT Montaigne a bit longer but I do promise to end the teasing before too much longer!
