Default Is it ebano?
http://www.bluefly.com/pages/product..._id=2056196505

I'm still not sure whether I should get a black Veneta or a dark brown one, a large one or a medium one, but this just popped out on BlueFly with a discount and it's in my cart now. It's said "dark brown" on BlueFly, is it the same as ebano, which is the color on BV website now?

It looks like ebano but you better do a live chat or call them to ask for the color code. I ordered the new pyramid thinking it was ebano. It turned out to be moro :(

Looks like Ebano to me. There are any browns like that from BV. Moro is dark, but almost black, and this doesn't look that dark.

G'luck with your decision! Classic colours in Venetas don't go on discount at BV stores, so this might be a really good deal!

Thanks. I just ordered it. Hopefully it will look the same color as my hair in sunshine, but I guess my hair color is in between ebano and walnut.

Oh I forgot to ask you ladies the even more important question . I plan to buy a pair of sunglasses to pair with the Veneta. Do you think I should go for the dark oliver one or the black one? Which is closer to ebano? Do BV sunglasses ever go on sale somewhere? I can't find any on BF.

Congrats on getting a new veneta! So what size did you order?

I personally think the dark olive one will look/match better with the ebano veneta.
:)

I think you'll be okay with the Veneta - as I understand it the Ebano is nappa leather, which the Veneta is made from, and the darker Moro is nappa umbria, which the Pyramid is made from. And so a "dark brown" Pyramid is going to mean Moro, while a "dark brown" Veneta is going to be Ebano. Fingers crossed and keep us posted!!

BookerMoose, I should have asked you before I ordered my 'dark brown' Pyramid. I am actually thinking whether I should return it

Thanks. It's a medium sized one. Hopefully it's big enough for me. I'm 5'5.

I will :) What is nappa umbria? I thought umbria is a type of BV bags, no?

Thanks. I will try them in store tomorrow (that is, if I go for Prada's sale in London) and decide whether to buy.

BTW, great pictures in the action thread. The large Veneta didn't look too large on you at all. I hope my medium one won't look too small either :)

I'm sure there's no problem with that. Please share some modelling pics with us when it arrives!
