Default If you want to see the color Night (on a Sloane) come on in!
I had promised to post pics of my Night Sloane. Night is such a gorgeous color. I can best describe it as being on the fine line between dark charcoal and soft black. It is definitely not a blue and its 1108 color code puts it in the black/grey family. Ferro and Night are both dark grey/light black. Ferro has a sheen (subtle and mysterious, not quite pearlized or metallic) and is more of a green undertone dark grey. Night has no sheen whatsoever and is deeply matte like the night. It is more of a blue undertone dark grey. Hope that makes sense.

Here's the Sloane paired with the jewelry I like to wear with it. The tahitian pearls have dominant green luster to help you see where Night is in contrast. The leather on the braided bracelet is flat black.

And because there is nothing quite like leather and pearls, one more...

I love the little diamond inset in the one larger pearl.

Great photos! Thanks for sharing these with us. Night is really nice, and I'm glad to know the difference between it and nero.

I am borrowing piperlu's photo of her Ferro Sloane outside to place side by side with my photo of my Night Sloane outside. Since I don't own Ferro, I can't put them in the same photo but at least here they're in the same post. I hope this comparison helps others!!

Funny how our eyes see different things. While I love your Night and agree it could be considered a soft black and that Ferro definitely has a lot of green undertones to it (that's what I like about Ferro) I wouldn't consider Ferro to be a soft black. The ones I've seen IRL are not that dark. Now my Matita could definitely be considered a soft black. Regardless I love them all Later this week I'll have something Ferro and can photograph it next to the Matita. Can you photograph the Ferro next to your Night? Just curi-ass

How's that for timing!!!! Wish they were taken together though. You also can't really see the green in the Ferro in that pic, at least on my computer. But that's hilarious

i love the night picture in direct sunlight. to me it reads very much like indigo from H which is a dark dark blue that reads more interestingly than H black which to me is flat.

my ferro is definitely not in the realm of black, i would say it was more grey/blue? let me say again, i LOVE ferro.... here is me pretending to look through my ferro pyramid for someone who wanted to know whether you could put it on your arm. i am wearing a black snow suit so you can see ferro against black.
