Ladies, I am trying to see if you could only have 1 Veneta bag, would you go for Nero or Ebano?

Ebano cos you can see more of the weave since it is not stark dark like Nero.

Both colors are pretty and classic ; black is "neutraler" than ebano in my opinion . You perhaps want to see your wardrobe [more black vs. brown ? ] ; or which color you don't have among your handbags. I see your wish list and it seems you prefer black ?? If you have a chance to try both, then taking pictures of you carrying them might help you decide too.

Ebano, without a doubt. I agree with teiko--Ebano shows the beauty of the woven leather. I love the black bags too, and have some, but the intrecciato displays better with Ebano.

It's always a personal decision, though.

my first BV was an ebano large veneta so I vote for the ebano

It's BV's signature color and the chocolate leather is sooo yummy, gets softer and slouchier the more you use it

Unless you are going for the goatskin then the intermittent waxy look would show up very well on a Nero:)

I would go for Ebano, but to be honest, it is highly unlikely that you will have 1, the best thing to do is to get the one you love and along the way in the future, you will no doubt get another. Your current wishlist is looking healthy and you could squeeze some more BV in there :-)

For me personally it would be Nero based on my wardrobe and such, but I can totally understand those who say Ebano too. So I'm not help whatsoever.

ITA! I consider Nero the all time classic. But I'm a black lover. So I'm not help either!
