Default I thought I would buy the lilac medium campana, but I came home with this instead
Hi Ladies, so yesterday I went to BV yesterday to check out the new bags. I was very looking forward to see the lilac and elephant colors, and thought that my number one choice would be the lilac med campana. But after I checked out the elephant large campana, I actually think the elephant large campana suits me better. It's a more everyday, just throw on your shoulder kinda bag. I feel that the lilac med campana is more femine, more like a special occasion kinda bag (It would be perfect for a date). Although I am short, I think somehow I am still able to manage the large size - I certainly don't want to look like the bag is carrying me! LOL!

BUT I am still very tempted to get the lilac med campana. Well, basically I still want to own something in lilac, and so far it seems the color looks best in the med campana.

I wasn't sure if it's crazy to own 2 campanas, but due to the different sizes and colors, I feel that they really have different vibes....what do you think?

beautiful bag. i love the campana. i think the campana looks terrific on you.
as far as owning two of the same style bv- well you will not be alone.
i own 3 of the same style bv and will soon have 2 of another style bv.
it seems when you find a style that works for you it almost makes sense to buy more than one.
glad you are so pleased with the campana and hope you do go for the lilac.

It looks great! I believe that usually the Large Campana only comes in non-seasonal colours, and I know a number of people have posted that they wish it would come in more colours than just the classics because they prefer the Large to the Medium - so the fact it is in Elephant may well be good news to people in that camp!

Wow! I love that one too! It looks great on you!! I have been in love with elephant since I saw the elephant Roma on page 73 in the catalog (Aren't y'all getting tired of me talking about that bag?? I'll stop talking about it when I can get my hands on it!! )

I bet you'd find a lot of people who own 2 (or more) of the same style--and yours would be different sizes, so they will look different. Think of all the Chanel ladies that have 20 flaps!

Congrats!!

I saw the elephant roma last night too. Unfortunately roma doesn't work for me, but I think roma lover will love it!

I just really love this elephant color, it kinda changes under different lighting, sometime it looks more lilac/purple, other time more taupe, other time more brown greyish, is just a very interesting color, that's why I also got the ballerina in the elephant color!~

Your new bag looks just great on you, hikarupanda. The colour and style are just fabulous. I can understand, though, why you are still tempted by the lilac. It's such a lovely seasonal colour.

Thanks Ladies,

So last night my pics were so dark, so I am trying to take pics of the bag during day time. But this color is really hard to capture....
